Fees

Fees are payable at the start of term, 6 times per year. Fees are payable for the whole period regardless of any absences. We ask for a contract to be signed agreeing to this. One term's written notice or fees in lieu is required if removing your child before school age.

Lunch club is charged as 1 hour at the hourly rate.

Children eligible for Universal (15 hours) or Extended (30 hours) Funding can include lunch club in their 15 hours.

Universal (15 hours) and Extended (30 hours) Funding
All children are currently eligible for government funding from the
January, April or September following their 3rd (third) birthday.

Universal Funding is up to 15 hours per week for 38 weeks per year.  We will arrange this for you.  You will be required to fill in and sign a Declaration Form and let us see and retain a copy of your child’s original I.D.

Working Parents Funding is 15 hours per week for 2 year old's and up to 30 hours per week for 38 weeks per year. This is subject to regular review.  You will need to have a 30-hour code from HMRC and we will require you to fill in and sign a Declaration Form.  We will need to see and retain a copy of your child's original I.D.

We can also offer some 2-year old funded places.  Some 2 year-old's qualify for 15 hours free funding from Bristol City Council from the January, April or September following their 2nd (second) birthday.  Applications are via Bristol City Council's website.  Please ask us if you think you may qualify and would like to request a funded 2-year-old place.

Tax-Free Childcare and Childcare vouchers

You can save money on childcare fees by using HMRC's Tax-Free Childcare or tax-free Childcare Vouchers from your employer. To pay your fees with HMRC's Tax-Free childcare you can make payments to White Tree Preschool from your HMRC account.  Tax-free childcare vouchers from your employer are also accepted if we are already registered with the relevant voucher scheme company.  We are no longer able to join any additional voucher schemes as the registration deadline has now passed.

Payment of fees

Fees are payable by bank transfer, HMRC's Tax-Free Childcare or employer tax-free Childcare Vouchers.  We no longer accept cash payments.

Annual Contribution

A small Annual Contribution is payable which covers morning snacks and Outdoor Learning trips based on the Forest School ethos.  If your child has a 2-year funded place or is receiving Early Years Pupil Premium funding, they will be exempt from the Annual Contribution.

Learning Journals

At White Tree Preschool, we use the ‘Interactive Learning Diary’ to record your child's learning. This fantastic interactive system lets you view, comment on and add to your child’s journal at any time.

When your child leaves White Tree, you can download a PDF copy of your child's Learning Diary to keep for ever!

Food and Drink

A healthy morning snack is provided for your child.  The snack consists of vegetables/fruit or carbohydrates and a drink.  A typical morning snack would be cucumber sticks with hummus and a beaker of milk.

Drinking water is available at all times.

If your child is staying for lunch club, they will need to bring their own packed lunch and drink.

All our practitioners are qualified in Food Hygiene and we follow rigorous procedures to ensure children with allergies and intolerances are kept safe.
